Do Pakistani Muslims after 70 years of partition think that creation of Pakistan by Jinnah was right step
I don’t know of Pakistani’s views after 70 years of Partition. But I can say about my view. To me Mohammed Ali Jinnah was correct to demand a state of Pakistan. At least there are no cow vigilantes, no body shouts ‘Go to Pakistan’, nobody talks of Muslim appeasement, no communal tension for Ram Nawami processions etc in Pakistan. The Muslims there are living in their ow n ways whether they are materially better than us or not is immaterial. In fact the BJP has changed the cultural scenario in such a manner that Muslims are afraid to call themselves Muslim in some part of our country. This is the worst outcome of BJP rule which is hitting at the very concept of secularism. Just think the other ways. Had there been no a partition in 1947, the Muslim population of undivided India would have been 55 crores against a total population of 168 crores and that is 33%.
