Nehru was solely responsible for partition of India-Dalai Lama!
According to the Dalai Lama- the exiled Tibetan religious leader- the self-centered attitude of J L Nehru was responsible for the partition of India. While interacting with students of Goa institutes of Management on Wednesday the 8 th August’2018 at Sakhali in Goa. Dalai Lama further said that Mahatma Gandhi was very much willing to allow Muhammad Ali Jinnah to become the Prime Minister of India to avoid the partition of India. But according to him, Nehru was adamant and wanted to become PM of India. Born on 6 th July 1935 and enthroned on 22 nd July 1940 as 14 th Dalai Lama (spiritual leader of Tibetans), he took up full temporal (political) duties from 17 th November 1950. However during Tibetan uprising in 1959, fearing for his life, Dalai Lama fled to India along with his retinue and some 80000 Tibetan refugees who followed him and set up a Government of Tibet in exile at Dharamshala in the Himachal Pradesh state of India.
